A microscopist analyzed my husband’s live blood in February 2023. He had less than half the volume he should have had. The red blood cells he had were clumped and badly misshapen. He was admitted to hospital in early March, when he was diagnosed with severe anemia and a hemorrhagic stroke. In June he had three valves replaced/repaired. By fall of that year he was much improved. He was not taking any pharmaceuticals, though ankle swelling was evident and we continued to have his blood analyzed every two months.

In December I remembered the VitalAxion footbath manual—he had been too weak to use it when I bought it—and read the section on live blood analysis.
